Hi,
I never bother with unnecessary questions and do not turn to support. But recently I spent a few days studying the problem and I want to say that there are problems with payment for the purchased goods if the seller has already switched to ebay payment 2.0 When the seller uses the old system, the payment to the buyer is successful. Unfortunately, ebay does not help in solving this problem.
I can not pay, after logging in to PayPal and then pressing the "PAY NOW" button, I get this error:
" Continue to PayPal to complete checkout or choose a different payment option."

I found a solution to this problem. There is information that your delivery address is blacklisted by ebay, so you need to use a different delivery address. Try it, I have no problems with payment now.
But the question remains to ebay, why the site reports another error, why not say it directly?
Unfortunately ebay is not very friendly to its customers.

Hello, I faced the same problem and can't buy from Sellers which are using updated version of eBay.
I won many bidding and offers and now can't pay to some sellers.
eBay support suggest to check with PayPal, I checked with PayPal and they said that there is no any error from there side.
Dear eBay pls help to solve this issue!

Yes, on other sites of shops or trading platforms there are no problems with PayPal! The same can be said for Google Pay, it also works fine on other sites.

Yes, even on eBay i can easily pay without any issues if the seller is using the old version of eBay.

This has not been fixed. Same problem with a buyer today.
Buyer is located in Japan.
And another Japanese buyer is not able to view my listings.
Ongoing for weeks.
Reported to ebay. No help.

I am using a laptop. When I go to pay it looks just like that but I click on the blue button that saids pay with paypal, and then a pop up comes up to put in my email address and put my password in and it works. I am using windows edge 10 chrom.

I am facing this issue very often. I called ebay 5 times today and no luck at all. Very frustrating as I need to buy a lot from ebay.
One of the representatives mentioned about work being done on this new "managed payments screen", so I believe that is the main reason by which is still very temperamental.
