eBay requires verification of bank info - no surprise there and a good policy. But the problem is they allow only one bank account for everything - payments to eBay and payments from eBay. I can't believe I'm the only person on this planet with a Charles Schwab & Company checking account that has one account number for payments from and another account number for payments to the checking account. Of course, it's easy for eBay to get paid from my account but there is no way to verify the paid to account, and that's the problem.
eBay is too dumb to figure out how to handle that. Every other company on the planet, including PayPal, know how to handle this situation, but not eBay. When you call eBay for support your have two problems right away: The first problem is understanding the broken English spoken by their representatives. The second problem is having to listen to the same script over and over again with no effort whatsoever by the representative to solve your problem. Oh yes, it is YOUR problem, not eBay's, that they are too dumb to figure it out.
It is nice that eBay isn't the only game in town. They can forget me as a seller because I won't be using them any more.

OK that has NOTHING to do with Ebay being "dumb". The current MP program simply doesn't allow multiple bank accounts yet. They are aware that this is an enhancement that many sellers could use, so it is on their list of future enhancements. I'm unsure why you feel you are the only seller out of 19 million that has this issue.
Keep in mind that they have been very busy in 2021 onboarding over 19 million active sellers. So it is reasonable that they won't start doing things to improve the system till sometime next year and beyond.
If you can't tolerate speaking with people that may have an accent, you have two Social Media choices in which to get customer service. That may suit you better.
