I’m new to eBay selling. I recently put 3 items for sale but had to cancel 2 of them. The first the winning bidder no longer wanted it and the 2nd was from an issue I encountered at usps. The item that ended up staying sold was for $262.97. Net proceeds came out to $227.60. I received a notification saying my payout was for $73.44. This number seems way off and can’t seem to get in contact with a live rep. Are some funds still on hold since my account is new for selling? My account still shows $121.33 on hold but it’s for one of my canceled items I had to refund.

It will even out to be correct. When you refund a buyer, the funds come out of your Available Funds. So it is likely the two customers you refunded, their payments were still in the Processing stage.
The best way to track your MP account is through the Seller Hub. Hover over the Payment Tab. A drop down menu will appear, select Summary. This screen will give you the most current details on your account.
Also look around in this area as there are all kinds of reports you will be needing sooner or later too.

I started my eBay business in January this year. I sold my first item at $39.95. The order total was $42.75 inclusive of tax. After all fees were deducted my order earnings totaled $28.73 of which I believe would be the total payout to my account based on the statement. March 2, 2024 was the due date for payout and I did received an email indicating that "$5.60 was sent to your bank account". I am not sure I understand why the incorrect amount would be paid out when in fact I should have received $28.73.
I would greatly appreciate if any assistance in providing an explanation at this time. Thanking you in advance.
