I have the problem of having cloze to $6k available for payout. I have not had a problem up to Jan 4th, 2022 with receiving payout. After that day I have not been able to get a payout. I have had 6 call to eBay without much success in finding a solution. It appears to be known technical issue, with no solution. Today I talked with a CSR that has come up with the solution of sending my available funds to me via PayPal(Yes thats right "PayPal") within the next 30 days or so. Meanwhile I was advised to cancel my current account and start fresh with a New Account. I will have to of course pay for the remaining term on my store subscription. With my new account I will of course start with 0 feedback and no history on eBay.
I think maybe the effort to start a new account may be better spent elsewhere.
really feeling betrayed by eBay............

"I'm sure I will cool down and still sell here, but not at the volume I do and probably will shut this id down and form another smaller one."
Why would you do that? Set up a new account. Then you will have to contend with the new seller holds on your money for the first month or so. It isn't necessary to do this under a new account. You can just slow this one down if that is what you want.

I hope you didnt get the CSR number by doing a search on the internet.... if so you were talking to a scammer... and if they told you to cancel your account (being owed $6k), I think its very likely.

Nothing has changed one bit on my sales- the same 4 products- except increased sales- all super positive feedback and shipping everything on time. So because I am successful-I was just sent a "Top seller" email - but they are NOT paying me. Ebay averages a $75 fee from EACH of may sales. I've spoke with several CSR-and yes they have singled me out for using Bank of America. I have that in writing
Adyen paid $70 million to ebay to handle the payments- so they are looking for the best ROI. Bank of America and ebay - via Adyen don't see eye to eye.

I bank where you do, too. I'm on 'Daily', but a sale I made Sunday night was released today. Will be mine tomorrow.
Are you asking if your Payout released today will arrive in your account by tomorrow? If that is your question, IDK. I can only say that for me, at BOA, I get an email that my deposit is in my account in less than 24 hours.
If you aren't getting emails to notify you when a deposit arrives. Go to their website and log into your account. There are quite a few preferences you can check and security things you can put in place. One of the preferences is to get an email whenever a deposit hits your account.
Sorry... late back to the party. Wasn't questioning, just stating. Mine paid out as usual. Life is good. 😁

I don't know what to say to this stuff. Lots of sellers use BOA and I am among them.
Being TRS has nothing to do with the MP program absolutely nothing.
From the information on your account that is available publicly, you have had 4 different listings in the last 90 days that have each had multiple sales on them. The two that are under $400 each would be FVFs of around $45. But the ones you have that are about $1600 and $1800 would of course be a lot higher. I do find it interesting on these two high $$ listings that were sold that when you look at the list of who purchased them, the price is much less than is stated on the main listing page. Less by exactly $1,000. I have no idea what that is about. I've never seen that before.
I don't know why any CSR would tell you that you are singled out because you use BOA. It isn't true, even if they put it in writing, it still isn't true.
Why would Ebay be looking for ROI on something they were paid $70 million if that is a valid number, however it is unlikely that number is accurate unless it is over several years or something? You can't be referring to Adyen as they have no authority to place a hold on a seller's funds. Ebay manages all of this.
Do you have a link to where you read it was $70 million?

So you are saying they are lying to me??? Is that what you do when you owe somebody money-asking for a friend. First I was told Bank of America was too risky. Then I got the ebay and Bank of America don't see "eye to eye."
Adyen?
As a part of the agreement, “eBay is entitled to acquire a fixed number of shares in a series of four tranches (each a “Tranche”) for cash, at a specified price per share upon the terms and conditions set forth in the warrant agreement.”
Ebay just received 403,724 shares-These were exercised at €240 per share and represented 1.25 per cent of Adyen’s issue-date diluted share volume.

So Ebay has been holding my deposit since 1/11/22. I have been selling on ebay for 20 years. I ended all listings on the 11th and am still waiting for my $235. Nothing about my bank account has changed. I have no chargebacks and I have 100% positive feedback.
I have done everything asked of me by Ebay to rectify this situation (even though nothing has changed) and I still do not have a deposit date. It seems there may be thousands of people in this scenario. Yes, my business has been interfered with and No I am not starting all over.

Wow! Sorry to hear all these stories of eBay holding your money hostage and giving you no reasoning for doing so. Seems to me there are much better options available out there. Sure makes it difficult to do business when the eBay behemoth locks you down for no apparent reason.

Yes I am saying they are not correct.
Now what the message you posted above does NOT say that you were singled out as you previously represented nor does it reference BOA. But it is certainly easy to come to the conclusion that BOA is the issue from how they wrote this message.
I would venture a guess that there are a lot of sellers that use BOA and MP successfully.

No, I am a Canadian with a Canadian account. So I do not have a Social Security Number. I have also been ask to upload a W-9. I can not do this as I am not a U.S. Person. But since I ship from the U.S. eBay seems to think I need to provide a SSN. I do have a Social Insurance Number from Canada, but this will not do. I did talk to a eBay rep today who suggested I find a U.S. Citizen and use there SSN. I am pretty sure this suggestion is illegal. Since first posting this I am still owed close to $6k USD and can not get my final payout. I am ready at this point to start selling elsewhere, but really need to get my final monies.

This what I am experiencing. I got a payout on Jan 4th. Now it is Feb 4th and I still have not received a payout.

If you sell on the US site, then you may need to get a TIN or something. I'm honestly not sure what the requirements are. But I know someone that will likely know.

Hi @mooktida - please do not use someone else's TIN, I will ensure that proper coaching is given to the teammates who suggested that.
As to the main issue at hand - I have heard that there is a workaround being created but do not have an update on that at this point in time. The best course of action is to continue to work with CS. Depending on the exact nature of the hold they can work on alternatives to get you your money.

Hello Tyler:
Thank You for responding. I was contacted( I did not call, She called Me) again be the same CSR. I was once again told I should find someone in the U.S. to use there SSN. I told I could not do that. She told me this may be the only way to free up my money. She also suggested I just put my Canadian SIN number on the W-9 and sign it anyway. I told her this was something else I could not do. The issue at hand is that I have a Canadian Account. When I signed up many Years ago for a eBay Storefront, the CSR that helped me registered the Store switched my registered address from Canada to my U.S. PO Box. Now I am told there is no way to change it back to Canada. So I am stuck without being able to provide a SSN or ITN. I really do not understand why eBay can hold money that is rightfully mine. I have delivered the goods promised to the eBay customers. I have paid for upfront for the merchandise and postage to get those items to the Customer. Now eBay is keeping my Money without just cause.
02-07-2022 07:10 PM
BTW.. I have started a new account(this one) as suggested by another CSR that said the money could be transferred to this account. I talked to a CSR on Friday that said the Money should be transferred today. I was informed today that this is not the case and they can not transfer funds between accounts. I get the feeling eBay is really trying to waste my time, so I will just give up on the monies owed. It is amazing how many different solutions I have been promised in the last month. Non of which have been followed through on by eBay.
