eBay managed payments

Hi Everyone, I understand all sellers will have to switch to eBay's managed payments soon. Can someone explain exactly what that is, how it works etc.? How are my monthly seller store, listing, value fees, etc. handled? 

I'm trying to educate myself on this new change and how it is beneficial. Any help or thoughts is appreciated.
