eBay is cancelling all my payments

I'm trying to pay for an item with a credit card. eBay accepts and tells me the item will be shipped. I get a notification from my credit card app that the payment was not taken and therefore cancelled. eBay puts the item back into my shopping basket without notifying me. Please someone explain why this is happening. I've used multiple credit cards.

Hmmmmm, is your card enabled for foreign payments?

Try paying with PayPal. 

Call the number on the back and ask them why your card was declined.
