eBay forcing me out of using PayPal. NOT

Hi, I have been buying and selling on eBay for over 20 years. I so far have played there games. I will not leave PayPal! PayPal is a great way to save or keep money. Easy way to pay any buyers! Every company uses PayPal. Not leaving. Don't care what they say or do. Its my money that I worked hard for it!

I also do not like the new selling format. Not user friendly for listing. It is old- full of to many rules, things to pick from, over bearing with suggestions, and there for takes to much time to list one thing.

Hate the feedback- and the way eBay force buyers and seller to leave feedback. What a stupid drag.  Over the top with to many ways to trainwreck good Sellers status or well being. Over detailed, questions, scab picking, shipped on time, and most of all unforgiving! I would change that right now.  When buying anything you are either happy or not. Plan and simple. RETURN IT if not! Or keep it and love it.

So I am very unhappy with eBay, maybe is time for a divorce.

eBay is not forcing you to leave PayPal; you can still use PayPal to pay for things you want to buy.

eBay, however, will no longer use PayPal to pay sellers. And if you do not link a checking account to your eBay account by eBay's deadline, eBay will not be able to pay you for your sales. Once the payment reaches your checking account, you can transfer it to PayPal or do whatever you like with it.

Feedback is 100% voluntary. No one ever has to leave feedback if they do not want to.

 Very well said I agree with you 100%. eBay is making selling nap fun and very difficult sad but true they don't care about the little guy

PayPal didn't  renew their contract with eBay. That's not new information. Several years ago they rolled this out. 

If you object then you have free will to leave. I personally hate to see anyone leave eBay so please think it over.  I must say however,  with millions of sellers here competing for sales that the other sellers will be happy to have less competition.

Hi, I still feel that they should Keep PayPal. They just want more money and access into peoples personal accounts.  So they can take and give!

Feedback- eBay messaged me the other day. About leaving Feedback. So when I went to leave feedback for a buyer, I saw where they have change it. Now you could write a book on "how was your experience."

eBay and PayPal have been separate companies since they split in 2015. eBay can no longer "keep" PayPal; it is up to both companies to negotiate a deal, and the current deal involves a transition of users to a different payment method.

Neither company has the ability to dictate what the other does.

Yes it definitely sounds like you need a divorce from eBay. Hope you feel better after that rant. Best of luck to you....

@relicnewkirk  they can't keep PayPal if PayPal refuses to allow it, PayPal didn't renew their payment processing contract with eBay.

Pay Pal isn't going to process payments for Ebay anymore, that's why they went with Managed Payments.

If Pay Pal had renewed their contract, there would be no reason to switch.
