I’m a seller with 100% record, outstanding feedback, and 0% buyer complaints, late shipment or any other negative metric. Last week eBay arbitrarily charged me for a package they claimed weighed 7lbs, when I had weighed it at under the amount I paid for - 1lb 12oz. It in fact weighed 1lb, but I tend to pay for higher weights to avoid any issues. I also record EVERYTHING. I complained on their social sites, and found today they had suddenly suspended payouts to my account, claiming unusual selling activity. There has been zero unusual selling activity this quarter. In fact sales are slow at the moment because eBay has me low on the list of comparable items, or in some cases not showing at all. Their payouts to me are actually lower than they should be. So the ONLY explanation I can find to this payout hold is that they want to punish me for complaining.
i. Now starting to move some of my new items to WhatNot because I don’t feel that there is any integrity or moral compass at eBay.

Stop with this, you are comparing yourself. I’m a collector not a flipper. You know, what eBay was supposed to attract. I sell pieces from my collection and have a basement full of NOS. I’m original owner on these pieces. Wait u til I list my Cinemaquette collection, as those pieces sell for more than $3K. But thanks for your defamatory comments.

Not much of a market for stamps is there? I have a stamp collection from my parents with gutter pairs, and first day covers. Looked up the market and laughed.
meanwhile you are making accusations that are completely unfounded. I’m a collector, and have PLENTY of NOS in my basement and offsite storage. Not the best of investments, but they have held their value comparatively to inflation.

I sold a $2800 Diecast model last quarter without any flags. Those receiving my items are more than happy and repeat buyers. Meanwhile all I see here is deflection from the issue at hand. I was placed on a hold after making public complaints about eBay, and verifying my account in their DMs.

I was charged for a 12oz package, which just so happens to equate to 0.7lbs, but they assessed me for 7lbs overweight. Clearly a mistake on the carrier side, but eBay arbitrarily charges, and doesn’t listen to appeals. It’s a freaking Xbox one game sealed, regular sized Xbox one game that weighs about 7oz. The box was brand new as I ship my stuff as a collector would, and was 12*9*3 with protection of bubble and packing peanuts. I took pictures that I provided to eBay of the package on the scale at 12oz.
