On my last two sales, buyers paid with PAYPAL, but I have NOTHING, thanks to Mismanaged Payments.
The totally incompetent ebay, after providing my bank account over and over and over, even sending email scans of a letter from the bank and a cancelled check still can't verify my account.
Phone calls, in which I am LIED to by various people saying that it has been taken care, no problem, have not resulted in eBay GIVING ME MY MONEY.
My bank account account number is not classified, PAYPAL had NO PROBLEM with it, but of course, they are competent people that don't constantly change things.
eBay knows the name of my bank, they say so, many times.

How many of those millions of sellers are based in China, because I don't see that sector being forced into the Hub let alone MP anytime soon (if ever).

To my knowledge they haven't released that number. But for US sellers it is about 7M.

Thank you. My apologies, I should have said I knew that wasn't your number but theirs. It still doesn't make sense. That would mean that the vast majority of the US sellers do not do much of a volume. That 340,000 figure has some international sellers in it too.
Although they do say "volume" not sales. Maybe they picked a bunch of sellers that have a high volume of transactions and not $$ values. Beats me, it just doesn't sound right. Ebay had just under 10 billion 3rd Q 2020 in sales so it must be transaction count.

I'm sure the sellers with higher volume were converted first. I would agree with you that a vast majority of the sellers on ebay probably do less than 25k per year.

In some discussion or statement someone made at Ebay in recent memory, they said that 80% of the sellers on Ebay are small sellers.
I'm in MP and I'm certainly not high volume. Most of the sellers on the threads complaining about MP aren't high volume either. As of last month there was 340,000 sellers in MP. So a whole lot more to go over the next several months.

eBay Is Stealing My Money. Not In My Bank, Not In PAYPAL. Do I Have To Sue To Get It?
Maybe/maybe not.
First, you need to know WHO/WHOM to sue.
File suit against the wrong party and you will automatically lose.

eBay FINALLY, verified my account and they are sending my money to my account, well, some of it.
With PayPal, I would have had almost $200.00 already, immediately when they paid, but with Mismanaged Nonpayments, they are FINALLY sending me $64.00 in 2 or 3 days.
What knuckle walker came up with this?
I see the eBay advantage, ALL changes are to benefit eBay even when at the expense of the sellers, they get to keep and earn interest on MILLIONS of dollars that don't belong to them and charge us FEES for doing it.
The Mafia would love that racket.
At least the other places I list, still allow IMMEDIATE payment through PayPal, because they are HONEST businesses.
I may be listing more with them now, as it is, I didn't list last night even though I have 200 free listings because it has just become too much work for a long wait to be paid, if something actually sells.
Buyer have come to expect their items immediately, seller get paid some day eventually.
How DEPRESSING.

I say SUE. then your out even more money tho. You need to teach ebay a lesson. How rude they can be.

It would probably have to be a class action lawsuit.
I have to believe this scam is illegal in many ways.
If eBay want's to act like a Bank, they need to operate under banking laws.
eBay does not OWN what we sell, so holding "OUR" money is NOT a service, it is theft pure and simple.
Maybe we need to go back to postal money orders for payment.
I sold a lot more back when that was how I go paid and there were NO FEES to get paid.
Seeing a mailbox full of postal money orders that I cashed when I went to the Post Office was so wonderful.
And back then, there was no rush rush rush to get the item either.
