eBay Changed my Payment Method???

Up until today, my shipping charges have been charged through Paypal on my Amex card. Today they have started taking money from my bank account to cover shipping costs??? What gives? I didn't change anything. How can I get it back to Paypal and Amex? Thank you for any advice.

When you buy your labels through Ebay, there's only 2 options, pending funds or Pay Pal, not your bank account.

I think the only time it would be paid from your bank account is if there wasn't any funds in your MP account.

Just my kneejerk... have you checked your PayPal wallet, and is your AMEX still selected as your 'Preferred method of payment while shopping online'? I mean, it doesn't say that for you bank account now, does it? 🤔

This screenshot shows money was taken from my bank account, once for a partial shipping refund and once for excess shipping charges.

Yes, Paypal still shows accurate payment method. I know it's something on eBay's side, well, because they are glitchy.

Ahh! Mystery solved. And my bad... I thought you meant while purchasing labels. Sorry...

I think that USPS overages and undercharges skip MP altogether and deal straight with your bank. Sit tight and wait for posters with actual experience, but I think that's the problem. Hang in there...

Hi again. Yes, I was purchasing labels. Spoke to eBay rep this morning about it and he said I NOW have to scroll down on EACH label to change purchase option from funds to paypal. Why does eBay screw with everything???

Understand your frustration. I have mine set to 'Your Funds' (instead of PayPal), but have had that default change, too. It is a (small) pain, but I scroll down with each label now anyway to make sure it hasn't  changed again.

For what it's worth... your selection should default again to PayPal. But to be safe, shimmy down and check. 😐
