You marked as payment recieved

Hi everyone,  On a recent sale - on the actual sold listing - payment shows as" you marked as payment received".  Instead of the usual you received payment or you were paid.  Also, no email.  Does this matter?  Ebay allowed me to print label.  Thanks.  Hoping All Is Well.

Did YOU in fact mark it as "payment received"? And if so WHY did you do so?

If you did so because of an email from Paypal, for example, it is suspect and I would suggest doing NOTHING until and unless EBAY says the payment has been received AND it shows up in your account. This is a common scam.

I did not mark as received & according to my sellers acct. item is sold & the $$$$ is there.

If the money is in fact in your account then you are safe to ship.
