According to USPS, my last auction winner received his object a few hours ago.
Ebay estimates withholding money, which really isn't theirs, until 11 Jan of next year.
Since eBay is such a big place, is somebody is going to call the customer to measure the happiness I have instilled, or just take a minute out of their valuable withholding duties, and check my sale history?
It isn't 5pm yet.

Same as with your other threads on this subject, your funds will be held because you are an occasional seller, but it's nice that you are being patient, and entertaining us with some calm posts about your eBay selling payout experience 😊
Sometimes we get all caps screaming/ranting/threatening legal action/class actions posts about payout holds. This is such a relief.

Is that a Dodge pickup in your avatar? It looks like one I owned. Mine had a cattle guard in front and required clutching in and out of lower
gears.

Yup. Had visions of getting it to work on after selling my 48 Dodge Coupe, but the inspiration passed. Decided I was too old to start another project. It would not have been a restoration. Just some work to driver/survivor condition.
Truck was relatively solid, but no engine/transmission/cab floor. There was a transmission in the bed. (May, or may not have been for that truck)

Once Ebay gives you a date to release the funds, nothing will make it go faster. The only thing that you can do to speed things along is to continue listing and providing great service. Then the holds will be shorter and eventually no holds because ebay trusts you.
Maybe you should call those guys from the American Pickers show and see if they are interested on that all truck. They can figure out if the tranny belongs to that truck. Maybe the tranny belongs to another valuable and rare old vehicle. I think that they are on Ebay too.
