Verifying My ID For Managed Payments

So here we go again. Another obstacle, a new issue that I have to deal with to continue making money for eBay because I am currently making very little with eBay's fees and DeJoy's postal pranks.

We've all gotten the red banners screaming to update your info. I have until February 4th and although the ugly red banner is on the screen every time I sign in, I've procrastinated and finally decided to do the required update. Most of my hesitation is there ALWAYS seems to be time consuming issues with any changes made.

So after checking the info provided to review (NOTHING HAS CHANGED) and then scanning and providing a copy of my drivers license front and back, I get a notice that further information is needed. After going through the same process six or eight times, I tried to get an eBay rep by phone. The automated system tells me I can find all I need at eBay.com/help. NO I CAN'T.  So now I try the chat. I hate chat help because they are dealing with a dozen other people besides you. A long time waiting after my explanation and the rep can't determine what the problem is in the information I provided to them. I have an appointment and can't wait for him to finish with other dozen people he's helping so I let him know I gotta go. Supposedly passing it up the line to the experts to find the issue.

My questions-

1. Is anyone else having these issues?

2. What other platforms work for those of you that are simultaneously using another platform, or have chosen to look elsewhere to sell your goods?

Have you tried the Facebook eBay support center or the UK eBay site support center help? I have heard that they are handling quite well than the US eBay support center.

It's not the best idea to direct ebay.com registrants to the ebay.co.uk site for assistance. There are subtle differences in the two platforms due to variances in consumer protection regulations, etc., in the UK.
