Why is my payout "declined?"

Since we moved over to managed payments, we haven't had any problems getting the money paid to the checking account. Yes, it takes too long, but the money has arrived. Until today.

Today, it declined a payout. There is nothing on the Payments pages explaining WHY the payout was declined. Since all the other payouts have gone through, what's different about this one? There's been no e-mail explaining what's going on, no note on the ebay page of an issue with any of the payments, nothing. I've scoured the Community Board, but I'm not finding any answers as to why payouts are declined. 

Does anyone have the answer or know where I can find the information?

I've got a payment declined message today as well. It is my first time with the new payout system though, but I've verified the bank account information is correct. What a disaster, it was so easy with paypal. Call backs are turned off, chats as well, so there's no way to talk to anyone. Is there a number I can just call? Can they get away with keeping your money forever?

I was able to get through to a CS agent on chat who said he would transfer me to someone with the managed payments team.... I've been waiting 30 minutes to be connected so I'm very doubtful I will receive a response today.

I'm sure ebay will give us some generic reply stating "a small number of sellers were impacted"

Same here.  Forced onto managed payments....required to ship item's WITHOUT cash in hand....wait several DAYS for payments (though NOBODY is making interest on all this cash) and with money paid out....NO PAYMENT....there must be a problem with your Bank.  Seriously?  Do you really think that during a flippin PANDEMIC, I actually got our Bank to open AND switched my account since YESTERDAY AFTERNOON, when you sent my last payment?????!!!!  Yes...THIS MANAGED PAYMENT SYSTEM IS FRICKIN GREAT!!!!!!

same thing me too!!!  Ebay your entirely to big of a company to be operating in this manner.  

Can you please let us know when will the issue be fixed, and once it's fixed is the payment going to be sent, again, right away? tyler@ebay

YEA.... NICKEL AND DIME PAYOUTS ALL WEEK LONG WENT THROUGH OK... BUT AS SOON AS ITS A BIG CHUNK OF MONEY IT CRASHES THE SYSTEM.... THERE IS NOTHING BETTER OR CHEAPER ABOUT USING EBAYS MANAGE PAYMENTS.  IT TAKES AN EXTRA 2 DAYS REGARDLESS OF YOUR SELLER RATING AND HOW LONG YOU HAVE BEEN A MEMBER. THERE HAS BEEN AN INCREASE IN FAKE ACCOUNTS MAKING BIDS AND OFFERS... AS WELL AS AN INCREASE OF IMMEDIATE CANCELATIONS RIGHT AGET PAYMENTS WHICH YOU DONT GET THE .30 CENTS (WHICH ALSO WAS ONLY SUPPOSED TO BE .25 CENTS LIKE PROMISED) TRANSACTION FEES REVERSED WE HAVE TO EAT THAT EVERYTIME... I SWEAR MY BIGGEST PAYOUT IN OVER A MONTH AND ALL THE SUDDEN THEY HAVE AN ISSUE AND NEED TO BLAME EVERYONE ELSE FOR THE PROBLEM WHILE THEY GET TO PLAY WITH A COUPLE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS A LITTLE BIT LONGER......

 I WISH I HAD A BETTER JUST AS SUCCESFUL PLATFORM TO MOVE TOO...  WOKE UP TO THIS..... AND OBVIOUSLY EBAY WASNT PREPARED FOR HOW COMPLICATED HANDLING THESE TYPES OF TRANSACTIONS WERE... PAYPAL WAS SO MUCH BETTER AS LONG AS YOU DIDNT ABUSE THE SYSTEM IN ORDER TO TRY AND GET FREE STUFF... OR RIP OFF CUSTOMERS...

I just called Chase. No problem with my account. The person I spoke to said I am the 7th call this morning. I'm assiming judy an IT problem. Now that I know its not me, I'm not worried

I got declined this morning as well.  The way I see it is that ebay should have left things with PayPal.  Instead, they saw fee potential getting lost to PayPal.  This is about greed folks.  That's all it is!

Oh, and one more thing.  Do you honestly think while they are holding our money that they aren't making money on it?  I'm sure they are making plenty of money on our held money interest free!

Some sellers may notice a delay with payments being available in their eBay account. We're looking into the issue and will have it fixed soon.

I also got an email from ebay this morning saying that my payout was declined although other payouts have gone through. Sounds like they need to get some bugs out of the payout system?? Frustrating, can't find a phone # to talk to ebay personally.

I've contacted my bank; everything is fine on there end. And that told me that they been receiving a lot of similar call from other eBay members.

Same here. It is definitely on eBay. Just got off the phone with my financial institution where I retired

from working after 38 years. I still know the majority of people working there. I was told there was nothing

that attempted to settle to my account from the Federal Reserve.
