My first 2 orders went from processing to completed in 24 hours. My next few have passed the 24 hour mark and are still stuck in processing. Paypal can process an order instantly but MP takes days? Something is seriously wrong here...

An update- I thought eBay worked for us, but I guess not. I know that if we wanted a 9 to 5, that we would go get a regular job where the employer decided when we are getting our paychecks. BTW- my daily Managed Payment came through early this morning. This was from last Friday's sales, and it is now Thursday. My shipping is now a day late, and thanks to eBay's molasses payment system, I have now suffered over draft fees of $62.00, which ate my entire profits. If we were still on PayPal, I could have taken care of all that before this happened. I don't even have enough funds to finish my shipping until tomorrow. The benefit of running your own business is that you can slip your fingers in the till whenever you want to.
eBay- "MANAGED PAYMENTS FOR YOU, BUT NOT FOR THEE!"
So now we can call "Managed Payments", "Molasses Payments".

I suggest you open your own retail store or sell online on your own site and see how long it takes payments to clear in your business merchant account.

I stand corrected. It worse now than 48 hours! 😡
Now, it is taking 3-4 business days???
So, how would a new seller deal with this little lone a veteran seller?
WHAT A JOKE!

That's just their default email-- it doesn't mean it will actually take that long. How long it takes depends entirely on your bank. My payments hit my bank account within 24 hours once the payout has been sent.

So true - well said! Gonna have to get more creative with advertising my items. Other online forums and social media. Use Ebay only as another billboard rather than my store.

Actually, most merchants "batch" their credit card sales every night and funds are available the next business day or sooner. These delays are are ridiculous for such a large retailer like eBay. I believe their payment processors are either second rate or eBay has chosen a slowing processing plan to save themselves money on fees! (Most likely the reason we're suffering here)

The "pending" depends on the merchant. Merchants who pay for faster processing get their payments cleared faster. It's all money game, literally and figuratively!
