Why does eBay separate orders in cart when PayPal’s special financing is selected??

eBay has been,seems randomly, separating orders during checkout when PayPal’s special financing in chosen!   This dis qualifies both from PayPal’s special financing when this is done!   I have bought in the past from different sellers and combined into my cart and chosen PayPal credit to pay for all the orders with no issues!   Today I cancelled my order in this case.   Why does eBay do this???

One possibility ...

eBay sellers receive payment one of two ways:

1.  via the seller's Paypal account

2. via eBay's Managed Payments

You can't combine the two in a single checkout session.

How to tell the difference?

If you see [ G Pay ] or [  Pay ] in the list of accepted payment methods,

the seller usees Managed Payments.

Otherwise, they use Paypal.
