Why does eBay always charge my checking account when my sales are low?

Hello! I was under the impression that eBay takes the money out of my eBay account for fees before distributing funds to my bank account. If so, why are they taking money out of my checking account? I've received funds and had them take out on the same day! It seems to happen more when sales are down, so it really feels like kicking a man when he's down! Thanks!

I've never been able to not  match up eBay's accounting. Yes... the FVFs are taken before your Payout is made.

The only monies that should come out of your checking are (for example) refunds paid after you had received the Payout and if you don't have enough 'Pending' funds to cover the refund... or Store fees if the checking account is what you designated that they be paid from... or if you underpaid USPS fees and the bill for the underpayment comes... and I'm sure this list isn't inclusive.

Would any of those scenarios be in play right now?

They do take their fees and other charges before sending the funds to your checking account.

Is it FedEx charges they are taking from your checking?

Have a great day.
