15 years. Sold thousand of toy collectibles.
Then MP was born.
Now in 2020. I sit in front of my PC and think only a fool would put up with eBay any more.
It seems there trying to kill off there own brand.🤔
I'm 2 months into the disaster of mp.
Beyond glitches delays lies scams.
Get this eBay says I owe .59. keeps billing me I call
No it's an error will fix it. They don't.
Now it doubled to $1.18.
The endless **bleep** proves they have no clue just like Twitter n Facebook. Hope Congress goes after Amazon n eBay next
Gone in Feb 2021 when store sub is up. GOODBYE 👍

Why Bother any more?
If 59c is more than you make selling on ebay, I certainly wouldn't stay.

"Why Bother any more?"
If a company can't fix something like that (.59), let alone allowing it to happen in the first place, I would have problems using them, as well. If a company only has people who tell you it will be fixed, and it never is, I would have problems with them, too. If a company can't be bothered with fixing something 'small', I would have a problem using them. Perhaps that is why I don't use them.

Their definitely going after Facebook and Twitter for using censorship in an attempt to interfere with the election outcome . Everyone should be appalled at the behavior of these big tech companies regardless of how they vote . When things like this get started and go unchallenged ? they snowball . And that spells trouble for everyone . Tulips

Over $1.18 ? Seriously?

Since I read your entire vent and don't really see you asking a question, I will just say that I hope getting this off your chest makes you feel better.
Stay safe and I hope you have a good day.

Ebay has been playing smoke and mirrors for years and years. None of this is new. You kind of have to walk into it expecting to get bent.

The problem with that thinking is Everyone is dead. Four sites and I'm lucky to sell one item a week. And not for enough money to care. I keep listing because this will end someday and I want to be listed and ready.
But I dream of having an "I am not dead yet Estate Sale".

Yep, if they screw up over 'nothing', think what it could be like if it were serious!

It is beyond ridiculous to throw out a little business due to 59 cents or 1.18. That has got to be one of the worst business decisions ever made.
OMG there is an issue and Ebay charged me 59 cents for something they should not have [maybe, maybe not, that hasn't been proven] therefore I can't trust them and I need to throw my thriving business out the window because I can't trust them because of this 59 cents. 😫
Please! The details of the Seller invoice should tell the OP exactly what that 59 cents was for and nice it was charged again the next month, there would be a second entry of 59 cents that the detailed Seller Invoice would tell them what it was for.
Either their business is just not doing well to begin with or the OP is over reacting.

What are the problems you are having in MP? Specifically what is at issue for you? Some of us will be able to help you with many of the issues that face sellers in MP. Some things that bother sellers aren't glitches as they think they are but the actual design of the program. Especially in regards to how they clear funds and transfer money. The link below will help explain that.
What I've found is that those doing Daily Deposits [poorly named] have more issues than those that do Weekly Deposits [every Tuesday]. If the dailies are driving you crazy, you may want to just try the weekly deposits and see if that helps you stop having so much stress trying to figure out how much money is coming and when. You can always switch it back if you decide that you don't like weekly.
What did the details of your Seller Invoice tell you about this 59 cents, both of the charges? It tells you something, what does it say?

So, are you saying that it is ridiculous that a multi-national, multi-million dollar, cutting-edge tech company can't screw up something serious, when they can't do, or have done, reasonable QA and CS on something 'insignificant'?

Nope, that isn't what I said, you may want to revisit my post.
And by the way, since the OP hasn't shared what their Seller Invoice stated for the charge, we don't know if this was an Ebay mistake or not. It could be a misunderstanding. The OP needs to look at the most current 59 cent charge to see what the details tell them. We don't have to guess or assume, the OP has access to the details.

And, perhaps you may want to revisit my post. I wasn't speaking of the particular incident that caused the OP's post (there were no details), but rather the general, overall status concerning the various complaints about MP - on top of the other aspects of ebay that have plagued it's 'user-friendly' portrayed image, such as IS, MP, the 'catalogue', policy enforcement, continuous scams and return problems, lack of quality control over a MBG that they can not justify, etc. and any number of the multitude of problems that have stalked ebay for years.

Is that why you don't buy or sell on eBay anymore?
