When is the deadline for managed payments

I see in the app it now mentions switching to managed payments. Issue is, I dont have a checking account only a savings.

If they haven't given you a date, probably in an email/eBay message, you still have some time. If you want to continue to sell here, you had better start working on getting a checking account. That way you will still have time in case there are registration problems. If you don't have the option of opening a checking account where you save, try a local Credit Union. They usually offer free checking with a minimal deposit.

I’m also curious about the exact deadline. 2021 is that December 31 of 2021?

also why is it I only see this notice on the eBay app. But when I go to eBay on chrome there is no notice on my account? I have also never received an email. It just simply says. To the effect of ,( this is what we’re doing you need to get on board ) But no deadline. So, is the deadline different for each person depending the size of their store?

I am perfectly happy with the idea of setting up an account just for eBay it would help keep track of everything. But I am not happy at all about sending out an item before I’m paid for it, Check cleared etc.. I don’t understand really how the refunds are going to work.I’ve not had very many of those thankfully but with all these different payment methods aren’t all their refund policy is going to be different? Most all of my items or vintage.
So , what I’m going to do is wait until the very last minute. Hopefully all the bugs will be worked out by then in the new system. But I need that official deadline date.

Frankly I don't WANT eBay to have access to my personal bank account information.  It feels too invasive to me.  I guess I can open a separate account and earmark it for just eBay transactions.  I wonder if they need some blood too?
