I went to send an invoice to a buyer living in Washington State this
morning and noticed that eBay has put in sales tax. I've never had sales
tax added to my invoices before. Is this normal?
Frankly I don't WANT eBay to have access to my personal bank account
information. It feels too invasive to me. I guess I can open a separate
account and earmark it for just eBay transactions. I wonder if they need
some blood too?
Well I guess I need to add that to my listings from now on. Wow -
Washington State charges 10.09% sale tax - YEOWW! That seems high. But
thanks for letting me know.
