I woke up today and all the money in my name was taken out , from eBay, from PayPal. It literally put me in the hole. $140+. For what?!?!! I didn’t buy or do anything on eBay in so long now. What’s happening? I’m never using eBay again. I’ve been nonstop using it for a month + and no issues until today. What in the world is going on and why did they auto take out $140+ for no reason.

You have been selling items since January with the most recent item you sold being Feb. 25th. Between January 27th and February 25th you have sold a total of 63 items. Is it possible that the $140.00 was taken out of your PayPal account for your eBay fees? Ebay does take out their selling fees every month since you are still on the PayPal system.

I did not know any of this, to me it’s been weeks it feels like. I have noooo idea. What are fees?! Is it based on how much I sold / made? What is it? I’m sooooo confused. I’m sorry I see so dumb and everywhere, I have had a long last couple weeks with a lot of stuff happening so time hasn’t been a thing. Thank you for replying as no one else is. I seriously am losing my minddddd. How do I look up fees and see if that was it? I have no idea what to do. Like literally I just made this account in January to sell Pokémon and now here this. Maybe that was a fee from eBay? But why and how do I know if that’s correct? Sorry I’m just so new to eBay. I’m so lost.

Yes, eBay has a 10% fee on the total amount of the sale.
One moment please...I will be right back...

Wow. I had no clue. I think I made $1500,1600. Wow. Thank you. I had NO idea. That’s more than likely what happened then I assume? Is there a place a can check this over on my eBay account??? Thank you BEYOND words. Beyond.

Okay, I just took a quick look at the approx. dollar amount of your sales and I do believe that the $140.00 is for your eBay fees. You did over $1,000.00 in sales plus shipping costs and sales tax that the buyer paid are included in the 10% fee.
I am quite sure that this was your eBay fee. It is not free to sell here.
Sorry...but at least you know now as to why that money was deducted from your account. Below is the link to eBay's help page for the fees:
You have done very well on your sales for a new seller, congratulations and good luck!

You made my day...you are very sweet and it broke my heart to see that in your earlier post that you cried because of it...nothing worse than to have someone so distressed and not to know why. It is people like you that makes us volunteer our time here to help out. Helping someone like you makes it all worth while.
Enjoy your day with a lighter and happier heart!
