“We can’t verify your micro deposits”

I changed my bank account to my own bank account tonight and they said to make a micro deposit of $0.01-$0.99 and I tried $0.50 and $0.99 cents for both of them and now it says this

And I bought 2 things today and got money transferred to my bank account today so I don’t know what the problem is.

You don't make the micro-deposits! eBay makes the micro-deposits to YOUR bank account and then you confirm the amounts of the deposits. The amount they will use for the deposits are from 1 - 99 cents, you confirm what you see in your account  and if the amounts match eBay  knows you have access to the account.

After you click the button to have eBay make the deposits it can one day, two days, maybe 3 days for it to show up in your account.

After the amounts are confirmed eBay will make two withdrawals for the same amounts.

eBay pulling money out to cover something bought is not the same process as them depositing money from a sale. That would not be an indication that your account is set up to receive funds.

I understand this now, but as somebody who has done the same, it”a no longer letting me try the same bank account. I don’t know how to fix it.

I'm having the same issue. talked to customer service multiple times. Still it won't work
