Hi everybody!
I keep getting this "Verify your bank account" warning though everything seems to be ok with my bank account! I even opened a different one and checked with my bank but irrespective of what I do I keep getting these messages! I am a bit worried as I have sold some items and I am awaiting payment and ebay is not getting back to me although I have sent them a couple of messages!
I am quite annoyed so please advise: what should I do?
Let me mention I have a rating of 282 and 100% positive feedback so I simply have no idea what the problem is!!!

Go to ebay and go to the "help and contact" area and ask them how long your problem will last and what verification documents are missing for your card?? because for my account ebay confirmed the approval in 5 days if nothing abnormal

Have done that! No contact from ebay!

this is exactly what happened to me today. Sold two items that went for a high price to a new buyer. They have not paid. I got exactly two warning back, but everything is fine with my bank account. I'm afraid this is a scam to get bank information. I've had no problems with managed payments. This only happened after selling two items that went over $500.00 each to a new '0' rate buyer who has not paid. Has this happened to anyone else as well?

How could this be a scam? If you are on MP they have your bank info. If you are not, they are telling you you have to sign up.

I was having the same issue and sent the documentation they requested. They still denied verification although I have been previously verified and using MP since at least September. I had three different people tell me that my bank can't be used because it is an "online" bank. I have been using Lili.

Just an update if anyone is having this problem. I did the "bank ping' method with the micro payment. They went though and then I verified the amounts of the deposits when eBay asked. Timing is still strange, but it seems to be fine now. Just wondering if these are random checks or what triggered the second request for verification.

Read through this article carefully. There is some very good info in it. Maybe it can help.

OP is in Romania, would that be Payoneer ?

Eventually I got a message from ebay confirming they removed the warning banner! No other explanation or apology for the upset!

After going through what I had to go through I think it is just a bug in the system! However what is really inexcusable is their "communication: Like everything else nowadays ebay is getting not only very impersonal (we communicate with bots!) but also very expensive!

Thank you but as you can imagine I would not have posted my problem without having gone through all the required steps before that!

I don't know what you mean! All payments go exclusively through ebay!

Not a scam but a bug more than likely! I would have expected an apology but bots do not feel sorry so...

That is something we can not or should not assume. That would be a big mistake because even the most diligent among us may miss a step from time to time.
