Trying to Sell This message is in RED at top of my listing

It appears that you haven’t provided the required information to confirm your identity or financial data. Until we receive that information, your listing and communication activity have been restricted to ensure a safe trading environment for you and the eBay community.

Is this new? It seems that eBay is asking for information that hasn't been required in the past. I've been buying selling here for a long, long time.

Have you signed up for Managed Pay, are your backup funding sources current? You have not sold anything on this account in the past 90 days and newest feedback is from over a year ago. New or returning sellers that have not sold in the past 90 days will have a hold placed on your payouts. Those holds can be 14 days or more. Buying does not change that.

Go to your account and make sure everything is up to date. Could be your debit or credit cards on file have expired.

If you haven't  attached a checking account for payouts read this.

If you need to add a payment method for seller fees that aren't taken from the buyer's payment, or to pay for buyer reimbursements read this.

Re: Trying to Sell This message is in RED at top of my listing

I'm not sure that buying does not help in some way. I sold a few (35) items in 2021, then sold nothing until I started selling more items early Sept 2023. My payouts were held, but only until the item was delivered, which was way less than 14 days. This only happened for the first few sales (maybe 5). Since then, it's just the usual processing time.

However, in that gap, I've made about 380 purchases.

Have you kept up with reading all of ebay's announcements and policy updates for along long time?????

Now would be a good time to click  POLICIES at  the bottom of any ebay page.

Lift your left leg at midnight to start off on the right foot. Happy new Year!
