Timeline of Events for Tax Verification For Single Member LLC/Sole Props.

As many others, we are facing issues with W-9 verification, primarily single member LLC/Sole proprietors. These funds have been locked out to us since 11PM Tuesday 3/11. I'm hoping a single mod is able to point us in the right direction, or perhaps this will provide a bit of help or guidance for anyone else in this situation.

Timeline of headaches:

Wednesday - Tried using the form provided by clicking the link on the banner - not usable for single member LLCs, gave up for the day after reaching max attempts (5?)

Thursday 933AM EST - Still no usable form. Reached out to Payments department & spoke with Rachelle who provided an alternative format for uploading the W-9 as requested: "informationreporting@ebay.com", Sent email at 944AM

Thursday 11:12AM EST - Received confirmation from Rachelle that W-9 had been received by the back office, advised she couldn't see it personally, but could confirm it had been received by the correct department.

Thursday 344PM EST - Received call from Rachelle that W-9 verification had been completed and to expect payouts to return to normal and banner to clear by Noon on Friday.

Friday 12PM EST - Payouts still held, spent remainder of afternoon trying to get ahold of someone who could provide follow up, only to find out no US agents were available in the payment department on Fridays after noon.

Monday 10:00 AM EST - Spoke to Danny, a supervisor in payments department who advised it was possible to raise the request to the back office, but would not do so until their typical handling time had passed (Friday 3/21) Advised to call back Monday 3/24 if I still had not received any payouts. Asked him how he would feel to continue working without knowing he was ever going to receive the promised paycheck, as that is how I feel about our current situation, and my promised payout. No response to that.

Monday 4:45PM EST - Spoke to Keith, Supervisor in Payments department, advised the W-9 verification process typically takes 30 days, but that he will send a request to raise the ticket to the back office. Would not answer more questions, or offer any other assistance.

Tuesday 845AM EST - Spoke to Rebecca, Payments department. Could not confirm if the W9 was received and again quoted 30 days until verification is completed. She stated there was not official timeline, but they were very busy verifying W-9s and were quite overwhelmed.  Suggesting prioritizing sellers with larger amounts held in payouts. IE $25,000 would be processed sooner than $170. Advised just to wait and that she sees my extensive call history, and continued calls will not speed up the process.

So that brings us to here & now. After speaking to nearly 30 reps in 6 days I am no closer to having payouts released. Mods, please urge eBay to provide a clear and concise announcement regarding this issue that provides a clear path to payout hold release and an estimated timeframe.
