Switching my checking account in managed payments (same bank)??

Hi all, can anyone help here? So I just opened up a 2nd checking account at the same bank, so I want to switch my managed payments to this account (so everything can stay separate from my normal accounts/money), but I don’t know how? It is the same routing number and seemingly the same account number??

I’m going to call the bank tomorrow and see if the account number is somehow different? When I log in thru the bank app it seems the same.

Your other account should have a different routing number. You could also always transfer the funds directly into the other account after getting paid, and leave enough in the ebay one to pay fees etc.

Each bank has a different routing number. So this checking account is at the same bank so it will have the same routing number. But I’m guessing it has a different account number. I just need to figure out what it is. Thanks for the input.

Your other account will have the same ROUTING number, not different (routing is to 'that bank'). The acct. number will be different. You would have to go into your 'preferences' to change your account.  Might be a tricky thing to get them to 'understand' your change.

Sorry, it might be the other acct has a different account number not necessarily the routing number. It’s been so long since I checked that I am not sure.
