I've run across a strange situation and I just want to put it out there for others to weigh in.
Some time ago I bought a ring from a seller overseas. After a couple of months, I contacted the seller. He said his packages were being held by a friend at a shipping facility. I waited some more. Finally, I reported to Ebay that the ring never arrived. Ebay checked it out and refunded my money. Ebay sent a message saying that the seller was not at fault because he had shown he had shipped the ring, so he kept my payment and the refund I got was out of Ebay's coffers.
Shortly after that the ring suddenly appeared in the tracking app. And then it arrived at my door. I immediately got an email from the seller saying that he had tracked it, knew it arrived and wanted payment now. He said that if I didn't pay "God would judge me," etc., etc. I replied that he HAD been payed according to Ebay. He ranted and raved and I told him to contact Ebay and I would abide by whatever they said...and that it was Ebay, not God who would judge this transaction. He went silent and blocked me from his store. But then I got a couple of emails that he mistakenly sent to me. They were to other buyers who were in the same situation. He was demanding, in effect, double payments. So now I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this scam. A seller has a friend in shipping who marks things shipped to overseas buyers, but holds onto them until Ebay reimburses the buyer, but lets the seller keep the original payment. Then the seller demands STRONGLY to be paid. I'm betting enough buyers comply to make this worth his while.
Thoughts?

Well now,,,,had he said I see the package arrived and here's a prepaid label to return it or would you kindly repay, here's my PayPal address,,,,,,I would consider doing that but since he wants to threaten you with God's wrath you should ignore and delete his messages.
