Why do I have $7 worth in special duration fees? I was charged $1 seven times for a special duration fee. Something that I sold for $14.99, I only got $3.76 out of it!!!??? Buyer paid shipping. I don't remember losing so much in fees before when I sold on eBay. Has anyone encountered this? How can I prevent so many special duration fees? I'm ok with being charged $1 one time for listing it for 3 days... But not $7. **bleep**.

Just use the standard 7 day listing for auctions or list as buy it now. Listing for 3 days have an extra fee.
It shows what the fees will be before you click list this item. Always check that with care to make sure you did not add any extras by accident. Those extra fees add up fast.

I may help you to read about ebay fees and how they work.

I would definitely 'reconsider' using an auction format....
why? if no one else bids, you would sell it for $1.00?
and then, if this is a 3-day auction and has relisted 7 times like the other one...you would lose $6.00?
I would quickly re-evaluate your business model....please
