Was it an eBay purchase? Did you purchase it as a guest? Is it on your purchase history?
Have you contacted paypal and your bank about it? If not, do so right away.

My kneejerk reaction is that you purchased here as a Guest. I can't address the PayPal transaction, but that sounds odd.
