Shipping label charge in MP for labels not purchased

This morning (Sunday, 2 a.m.), there is an entry on my Managed Payments screen that says I bought 6 shipping labels.   I did not purchase them,  and I double checked my "shipping labels" under "orders" and there are no entries for Sunday, the 24th.  I bought labels on Saturday, and they are there with the proper amount.  As for today's entry I do not know what "Short Paid" even means, never having seen that before.  Does anyone know?  I can't get any help from eBay.  Thanks in advance.

It may have to do with the increase USPS Shipping Rates Starting today. (You needed to pay more that is why the short paid)

I am assuming of course not knowing all the details but this makes sense to me

Very good thought - I purchased 3 labels on Saturday, not 6.  They totaled $15.81.  Even with the raise in prices, there is no way the difference would be $10.27.  I think the concept may be correct though, but not the amount.  Hmmm.....not sure what to do.  Appreciate your input.

I actually thought the price increase wouldn't have anything to do with it... but was open to that idea. Can you tap the tracking number and see where the shipments originate from? Still puzzled...

Hmmm....I looked and origin acceptance is correct.   Although in hands of USPS 1/23, the acceptance date is today, 1/24 on the scans.    I added up the difference between what I paid for the 3 labels and new USPS charges, and it totals $.82.  (not the $10.27 charge).

Can you tap on the mysterious six labels? No, wait... can you VOID the mysterious six labels? I would, if so...

I mean, if you 'bought' them, shouldn't you be able to void them? Just thinking outside the box.

No - appreciate your thoughts and input though.  There is no clickable link on the Payments screen for further detail, and there are not 6 labels showing on my "shipping labels" within "orders" on Seller Hub.   The last labels showing there are the 3 I purchased yesterday.  Those 3 also appear on my MP screen correctly.

I am going to take a guess here that the amount being charged is for 6 labels that you purchased sometime in the past that were flagged by the USPS as being short on the postage paid.  Sure would be nice if eBay provided some detail on which labels were short.

Let's see if we can get some help and an explanation from payments_team@ebay

Thanks for your input.  It is extremely logical.  I just can't imagine that happening though, as I check weight multiple times and buy postage through eBay, according to their calculations.  I also have the USPS current print out of postage rates, and things always seem to match that.   I am very, very careful when purchasing.  If I able to click on the so-called "6 labels" purchased Sunday morning at 2 a.m. through Bulk Shipping I could investigate it  There is no way to access any detail that I see.  

It would just be helpful to see how the number was arrived at and what labels they are talking about.

Thank you.  That was it!  I was unaware of that page and in the 22 years I've been here, this hasn't happened.  I will open a dispute with USPS as this indicates Priority was used but media postage purchased.  There is an obvious error on their part.  Thank you so much.  Mystery solved.
