Sending a separate payment for the transport of goods

Hello.I am a relative newbie and I don't understand how you can send the customer a separate payment for transport once the product has been paid for.

Sending a separate payment for the transport of goods

What kind of product?  Will it need special arrangements for shipping, like freight? Or a car?

If its oversized, then the seller needs to know where to ship it, before giving you a shipping cost.

Yes.We have stated that the product is large and the transport price must be asked separately. It is a large gauge car spare part.

Sending an invoice and combining payments | eBay

To send an invoice for additional shipping on eBay

  1. Go to your Sold items.
  2. Select Send invoice next to one of the items you’d like to include in the invoice.
  3. On the next page, we display all items purchased by that buyer. Remove the check from any items you don’t want to include in the invoice.
  4. Add shipping charges.
  5. Enter a message to the buyer (optional) and select the payment methods you accept.

If the listing showed a shipping price and the buyer paid it, you can't ask them to pay any more.

Have a great day.

Looks like you are 'guessing' at all your shipping prices from Estonia. Have you taken the time to pkg your items, and measure and weigh them before listing their shipping fees? Otherwise you are going to be paying out of pocket for many of these underpriced fees. You cannot charge a buyer more than what is listed in your items shipping fee.

@lesvenou

I looked at your sold/completed listings and all have shipping prices listed. You aren't allowed to ask for more money if you underestimated the cost.

Hello. We have agreed on a price with the customer before the purchase and he accepts it.

Unfortunately, I cannot set a price for some goods that are high gauge. And if the customer wants to buy, I will make an offer.

If the buyer wants the seller to ship it using a faster more expensive method not offered in the listing they can ask for more money.

To follow up, the seller's listings were made on ebay.com, and show International shipping is through EIS but the seller is in Estonia so that is not possible.

They cannot ship EIS because they are not registered in the US.

In this case I believe they can ask for more money because they can't  use the method offered.
