Sellers fees not adding up?

I think I'm being overcharged on the monthly invoice? It lists the following totals:

Final value fees $25.67
Shipping fees $18.44
Total $44.11

I had two sales this period:

1st item the buyer paid $149.50(item) + $41.65(shipping)

2nd item the buyer paid $52.00(item) + $8.47(shipping)

I thought the way the total fees worked was the final value fee was 10% of the combined items sales price, and the shipping fee was 10% of the shipping cost. Doing the math though, the FVF alone ($25.67) already exceeds 10% of the total item+shipping for all items:

$149.50 + $41.65 + $52.00 + $8.47 = $251.62*10% = 25.16

Is this a mistake on eBay's part, or am I mistaken in how the fees work? Thank you for your help!

Re: Sellers fees not adding up?

Ah I see, this 18.44 is the amount I paid to UPS for the shipping label. Ok thank you.

Fees are the same no matter who you choose as your shipping carrier.  I think all they were saying is that on some shipments using International Standard shipping, Fedex and UPS, the actual shipping charges are billed to you at a later date.  Again, nothing to do with fees.  I already explained the fees to you in post #9.

Costs for Fees in Ebay [not MP]

149.50 + 41.65 = 191.15 X 10.2% = 19.50

52.00 + 8.47 = 60.47 X 10.2% = 6.17

19.50+6.17 = 25.67

On top of that is your 2.9% PayPal fee and the 30 cent per transaction [per payment] fee.
