On Thursday (9/08) I added my debit card to my seller account to use for payouts so I could take advantage of the express payment service. As a result, my funds were placed on hold for 48 hours. On Saturday afternoon (9/10), the hold dropped off, and my available funds were scheduled for payout on Sunday (9/11). Early on Sunday morning I checked in My Payments, and the scheduled date for my available funds has been delayed to Monday (9/12). I am currently on a daily payout schedule. The sales included in available funds scheduled for payout were successfully completed on Friday morning (9/09). Why did this change in scheduled payout happen?

Because the 10th and 11th are not business days?

Update to post: Just checked my EBay account, and payout has now been initiated. Payout switched BACK to 9/11. Not only was the payout initiated, Ebay initiated the payout using the express service to my debit card. Therefore, not only has my payout been initiated, I have received credit for the payout in my checking account. As I mentioned I am in a daily payout schedule. After adding my debit card to take advantage of the express service, I found out yesterday after calling customer service a second time, express payout is NOT even available on a daily payout schedule. Seller has to be on weekly, biweekly, or monthly payout schedule to request express payout. I told the representative I did not see that explained in any of the information I read in My Payments before adding my debit card. He suggested waiting until the current scheduled payout had been initiated to change my scheduled payouts to a weekly status to avoid any confusion on the already scheduled payout before making any more changes. I expressed my disappointment in the lack of complete information leading up to my adding a debit card for express payment. On top of that on my first call to EBay customer service yesterday with questions about the express payout service, the representative explained the process as to how to request an instant payout, but she also failed to mention it was not possible to use express payout on a debit card f the seller is on a daily payout schedule. So how this “miraculously” came together, I don’t know. I would have to guess it had something to do with two calls to customer service, a bad review of my first call to customer service for her apparent lack of knowledge on express payouts, and finally my post on the EBay Community. Hope EBay does a better job of getting the word out the NEW OPTION FOR EXPRESS PAYOUTS TO A DEBIT CARD IS NOT AVAILABLE TO SELLERS ON A DAILY PAYOUT SCHEDULE. Sellers MUST be on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly managed payment schedule to be afforded the option for express payout to a debit card service.

EBay now initiates and sends scheduled payouts in the US 7 days a week.

Ebay plainly states that "If you’re on a weekly, biweekly or monthly payout schedule, you’ll also have the option to request your available funds to your linked checking account at any time. If you’re on daily payouts, you won’t be able to request your available funds on demand, as you already have our fastest option."

I had no idea this article existed last Thursday when I started this process, and there is no link on EBay in the initial stages of this process recommending you read through this long, comprehensive article in order to understand the new express payout service. There should be a link to this article in the quick start information. I wish there had been, but there was not.
Here is the information I used to learn about and initiate the new express payment service on my account. I started with the pink banner below on the selling page in my eBay account.
When you click on Learn how, this is the limited information provided.
When you click on Learn more, the information below is provided next. .
That’s it.
Granted, I see now that when you click on Learn more, the seller will be taken to this section above which is a part of the much longer article on explaining EBay payments you provided, but I did not know to scroll up into the article to find the section you quoted.
Start with the pink banner, and follow the links. There is no reference to the fact that express payments do not work with a daily payment schedule.

I had the same issue and figured it out but eBay payouts are not always daily if you have selected daily payouts. My payouts are set for daily to my bank account but whenever I use my available funds for a ebay purchase it automatically delays the payout by 1-2 days. I was going to switch to weekly so I could request instant payouts but ebay said it still may take 1-3 business days so I have quit looking for a faster method. I don't miss the old days when Paypal was required for everything but the funds would show up within a few minutes or hours after the buyer had sent payment. Does anyone know a way to get paid in your bank account that fast?
