Monday, I talked to eBay. She said the bank acct. For payouts would be deleted because that account is closed and I can't receive any payouts! I have an account I want to add, but I get a error .Msg. Every time I try that says "Something went wrong". This closed bank acct was suppose to be deleted off my eBay acct so I can add the open & working bank acct., but it has not been deleted yet! It's ridiculous. ebay has tried about 3 times to give my my payouts and it's been unsuccessful, because they are trying to use the closed bank account. If they would do what they say they would do, I would have my payouts by now!!! 😤😡 please delete the bank account so I can update the open bank account!

Hi, this is a forum populated with other buyers and sellers, not customer service, sorry. To reach a CS rep, try eBay’s Facebook page or their Twitter. Or go to Help & Contact on any eBay page and follow the prompts. Good luck and hope you are able to resolve the issue.

Yeah, there’s no eBay Customer Service people here. Really! It’s just us. Just remember, eBay is totally indemnified in EVERYTHING they do. Just ask the last CEO.
The worst part about this is how eBay exposes your data in the process of attempting to ADD bank account with a broken bank verification system.
The contempt with which they treat your data is criminal.
I have logged on to my bank at least 100x THROUGH eBay, had my account confirmed at least 100x over 5 months BY MY BANK and then get the “Sorry. Something Went Wrong. Please Try Again” error. Nobody in customer service or the “managed payments” area can help with this.
Your first stop should be the CFPB

Not because they will necessarily do anything, but you are documenting a very serious problem with a regulator (since 49/50 state AGs are asleep)
Im looking into reporting this with FinCEN, but the irony of reporting one of the worst CFT and money laundering failures in Silicon Valley for bank data fraud and customer data exposure is just depressing.
Money Laundering

CFT Failure
Imagine how long it took for someone to RECOGNIZE CRIMINAL ACTIVITY ON THEIR PLATFORM (let alone their executive suite) and then to CONVEY these things to eBay executives. The ones that READ their emails.
This is an expository post reflecting experience with eBay. There have been many people affected adversely by this company, and although regulators have been largely asleep to eBay, that will hopefully change. Whether this post is removed or not is irrelevant. It will be submitted, and I will have a screenshot.
