Refund Issue

Hi Everyone

 

I need urgent help, I bought an Item today but received a notification that the item has been removed from the website. The seller is not responding to my messages for a refund, and when I try to log a refund request it says the item has not been paid for. The item was paid using PayPal so the balance shows that the item was paid.

 

Please if anyone can help or knows how I can resolve this.

First of all you need to calm down, all will be well.

Check your paypal again to ensure the payment did indeed go through and is not just pending, if it is pending you can contact paypal to stop it.

If it has gone through - on your order there will be an expected delivery date, if your item has not arrived by that date you can then proceed to eBay's MBG and file Item Not Received.

Be patient you will receive a refund if you follow the procedures

The payment has gone through already, the item does not have an expected delivery date as it has been cancelled and removed from the site.

If the item was paid for it should still be showing in your purchase history ? If it is that is where you will see the ETD

It is an international package so estimated delivery date may show "No estimate availiable" to buyer from USA. 

 

No estimated delivery date usually means 30 days.

 

Since you did buy an item already you can let your seller know that you want to cancel the order but they may have shipped it already. If item has not arrived in 30 days you can try filing item not received case or if it impossible to do on eBay go to paypal and do that there.

 

Ps. Removed item does not mean that it will not arrive. Some items get removed for certain reasons but sellers usually ship them out either way as a part of the sale.

The 75 pound ($104) Ryzen 5 3600 should have been a red flag. Don't buy that stuff overseas. If the deal is too good, it probably is.

 

You're new it seems. Be careful.

Ah yes, the price of the item and seller being 1st time seller is interesting as well.

This seller has 0 feedback as seller and only feedback as buyer so this could be a scam or could be a new seller trying to sell and making mistakes.

 

Either way as a buyer you should be covered.

Just keep checking the item in purchase history periodically and if a tracking doesn't appear, open INR as soon as the system allows you to.

That will get your refund, and if the item does turn up you can repay the seller then

Right now @peskho_0 immediately file a dispute here for "Item Not Received" then click the "Escalate to PayPal" link (at the bottom of the page) as soon as it is available.

 

DO NOT RESPOND if the seller wakes up and contacts you now, asking you to close the case, or promising you a refund, etc. Just wait up to 11 days for your refund, and shop wisely next time.

Wrong, sorry. Those purchases would still have estimated delivery dates.

By then, it would have been too late.

Correct, there will be no way to open an Item Not Received case on this item, not now, not ever.

 

Wrong, there would have been tracking showing Delivered, but now nothing will ship.
