Received 4 microdeposits for bank account validation

Hi,

I registered new bank account on eBay and I received 4 microdeposits on my bank account. Yes, I confirm I received 4 microdeposits (credits) and yes, I confirm I received them all one day after I registered the bank account. I tried to enter first double in the validation form and then the second double. Now I have my last trial.

eBay customer support seems to deliver usual generic advises which in reality are useless.

Is there anything we can do with this?

Ebay is the only ones that can actually help you.  I know it is frustrating, but sometimes it takes a few attempts.

I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.

Your options will be on the left.  If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options.  Not all options are available 24/7.  It will depend on staffing available.  So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't.  Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me.  If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.

If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.

If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

I received another reply from CS and now I know that after third unsuccesfull bank account validation attempt you have to upload bank account statement to validate the account. I uploaded bank account statement and I'm waiting for eBay to validate my bank account.

No, that isn't always the process.  They ask for an actual bank statement when they need to verify something.  Not everyone has to do this.  It also doesn't mean you did anything wrong.  Ebay just has some very serious Federal Laws they have to comply with.

Make sure you are entering the correct amounts of the microdeposits. Sometimes, errors can occur during input. Verify the amounts and try again.
While you mentioned that eBay customer support provided generic advice, it's still worth reaching out to them again. Explain the situation clearly, mentioning that you have successfully received and confirmed all four microdeposits, and provide any relevant details. They may be able to assist you further or escalate the issue.
eBay may have alternative methods for verifying your account. Check if there are other options, such as linking a credit card or using a different verification process.
If there is a local eBay office in your area, consider visiting in person. Sometimes, face-to-face communication can lead to quicker resolution of issues.

I'm sorry, but did you read my question? I received 4 microdeposits. eBay wants to enter 2 amounts. How can I make sure I'm entering correct amounts? Impossible 🙂 I tried twice hoping to guess correct amounts. I then contacted CS and explained my situation very clearly and they wanted me to delete the old account and enter it again. I did that, waited 5 days for new deposits and of course, this time I received exactly 0 microdeposits. Then I contacted them again and I was told that after third unsuccesfull trial I will be prompted for my bank account statement. I will provide that tomorrow and will see what happens. Hopefully I will get my bank account finally validated after 14 days.

I got my bank statement and wanted to upload it to verify my bank account. However, I no longer got prompted to upload the bank account, I again got form with 2 fields to enter 2 microdeposits amounts. So I got my 4th attempt and I finally got right combination from the 4 microdeposits I received. Nothing can be easier than getting bank account validated with eBay 🙂 Just 4 attempts and a little bit of guessing.

Update: My 4th and sucessfull attemp was 0,02 and 0,03 EUR - I picked these amounts from 4 microdeposits I had on my bank account. Next day after I validated my account, I received 0,02 and 0,03 EUR microdeposits to my account....Funny.
