Quick question RE: Managed payments

I'm in, yay! Finally was allowed to sign up today.

One quick question - do all my listings automatically convert over getting rid of Paypal, or only new ones created from today forward?

I should know this, but I don't.

Re: Quick question RE: Managed payments

I have a question. Do we HAVE to switch out of PayPal? I like the way it works for me!!!! I don’t like money coming in and out of my regular checking account. And I love that payments are instantly available.  So do we HAVE to switch out of PayPal? Or can PayPal just be our bank?

I am not doubting your word, but that is not what eBay is showing.

When they switch you over they don't change any of your sold items
because MP can't refund any Pay Pay sales. More than likely a glitch.
But you might want to check the order details page to see if it shows
the Pay Pal payment as it normally would.

Must be a glitch. That payment went into Paypal. Every sale I log in to Paypal to verify payment and print the packing slip. That's been paid for, shipped and delivered already.

Not gonna miss that step, but dang Ebay's packing slips stink.

@auntiek99

PP is not a bank. You must provide a checking account.

I opened another account just for eBay.

Yes, you have to switch if you want to continue selling here, and Paypal cannot be used because they are not an FDIC regulated bank or an NCUA regulated credit union.  Some sort of Federal regulations I guess.

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

No sure about this being a glitch or something intended.  You know sometimes it's hard to tell.  Anyway, I have been using MP for over a year and the same thing happened to me.  Also, check the feedback page item numbers and when you open/see the original listing it will also show the MP payment options.

Re: Quick question RE: Managed payments

@southern*sweet*teaI finally got in today also! FYI, a seller I know of who got in a couple weeks ago is having a glitch with daily payouts, so I set mine to weekly, at least for now. My first sale since the switch shows payment coming Tuesday. Fingers crossed!

My sold listings look just like yours. I'm pretty sure this is why (website design explanation):

The listing info appears within a "frame", and that frame is the same for ALL of a seller's listings. Upon becoming part of managed payments, the frame had to change to reflect new payment options. That's why the new payment info also appears on listings that already sold.

Re: Quick question RE: Managed payments

Update:

My cash went from pending to available and I got the notice that the money was sent to my bank this morning (Tues 15 Dec) around 0900. It's now just a bit after midnight, and it just hit my credit union account, so less than 16 hours.  I have weekly payments.

So far, so good.

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.
