I ordered something one eBay 12/19 for $165 (like 99.9% certain) went back to look through my purchase today after I recieved the item and it said purchased for $200. Is that even possible for the seller to change the price? It was a buy now, not an auction and I remembering thinking that was a really good price. I went back to the sellers page for items for sale and there’s more of the item listed for the $250 price now( probably because the market is going up for the product)
has this ever happened to anyone else?

Did you pay $165 at that time or did you pay $200?

once you accept the sale, seller has no way to change the price. Have you looked at the listing to see if there was some additional information, or do you have any evidence that the "Buy It Now" price was indeed $165. Without any of that, you really have no proof.

Yeah I have no proof that it was 165, just could’ve really swore it was..
only thing I can think of is maybe right after I bought it, I found the same product for 165 and that must’ve stuck in my head as the price I got it for.
