Problem with eBay’s W-9 form, payouts on hold

I’ve had my funds on hold for about a week because I had to update my W-9 info Idk if anybody has had any luck being able to have their funds released from hold but I’ve had no luck after updating all my information and getting in contact with a few eBay agents. None have had a definitive answer as to what is going on I just keep getting a run around and a maybe on when my funds will be released, if anybody has any info please share.

It happened to alot of us . Some issue on eBay backend they are trying to resolve. I got escalated up to a Team lead that knew what was going on and said there was notifications sent out about this issue to employees and that thier backend team is working to resolve these issues within 10 days of the paper work submitted it should only be 48 hours. However she said they had such a enormouse amount of these holds go out they are backlogged. I have to until Friday to find out if my funds arent unlocked by friday unfortunately I may have to get my attorney involved because they legally shouldnt be able to lock us out of all of it. The irs requires them to withold 24% not the entire amount. However eBay doesnt want to do that paperwork so they wont withhold the 24% unless it goes unresolved for 90days.. 90 days of not payments could put some business in a very bad positiion. This isnt just a small issue for some of us thats for sure.
