Power Of Attorney major RED FLAG

I find this Power Of Attorney claim in MP agreement very troubling.

The purpose of a POA is to give them permission to act on your behalf in the case of your absence, an illness, other incapacitation or death.

Well it is actually more than that, they can draw money from your checking account. So if sooner than  later as it is very profitable they change Ebay to subscription model  (like Ebay stores now) they would be able to  charge your account years after your death till dry. Good Till Cancelled access to your checking account and good  luck cancelling it after death.

You should never use your personal checking account for that , special  account only and  always maintain  healthy zero balance.

If you are such a good psychiatrist what are doing selling $8.99 items on Ebay?

MP change is putting me out of selling and it is not something walk could fix. The only reason Im here because they broke something what was working very well. I can no longer list so I complain. If you want to help you can PayPal my account directly, if not this is truly not the best place to find patients, not without proper medical license anyway!

Open an account just for ebay. Best  at a different bank to use for managed payments.  Still it's worry some.   If you move up to an LLC you then have business tax issues too.   It's not the simple selling venue it once was.

Does not apply to me but YES that would be best way, also transfer money every day to another secure account. Keep zero balance. Very counter productive.

I still believe Ebay has awakening and brings PayPal back on. MP is one legged elephant. I know I complain a lot but trust me I would rather be selling but due to recent changes (MP) I can not.

You chose not to, well; that is your choice.

You might think eBay going to go back to PP:

nope. MP accept PP for payment but not to be payed to.

MP is the payed to system of today eBay.

Oh and it is not that great but it still can and is used.

When I signed up in 2012 I chose to have my fee's taken from my checking account and I know exactly how much they'll be taking and when.

And no, I don't use a separate account.

The other site I sell on, also uses the same program and I use the same checking account for it also and never had any problems with either site.

Oh you people are not very hopeful, I grew up in the communist country and heard the same talk as a child, we will never have capitalism. Well guess what all the nay sayers? It only took one generation of hope and here we are. Never say never and always have hope. Hope is not the mother of all stupid. Hope is real deal. Of course you have to resist bad changes and be loyal to others rather than fight/argue each other. If not a single seller would sign up for MP we would likely already have PayPal and 10% Ebay fees back today. Just the way capitalism work. If you gave in your privacy right (it is a freedom) and did sign up, realize you are kind part of the problem, you did not resist bad change and likely deserve the higher fees. In the world where money talks perfect obedience is not always best choice, you can be very easily taken advantage of - for profit.

Hope is the flip side of fear. I have to agree with the party-line. MP is not going anywhere. If you were Paypal, would you want to process payments for eBay?

eBay will scrape by on its fans. You will never convert them; nay, I'd just as soon they remain here.
