I know this question has been asked probably thousands of times. I have spoken with ebay representatives and  they  all give me they same scripted answer. In trying to get to the bottom of things and asking them further about their "answer" I get an "I don't know". The question is why does it take so long to show up in my bank account after ebay says the  payout was SENT. Ebay says it's my bank that is taking so long. My bank has no record of the transactions. As soon as it is sent they recieve it within minutes at the most. Why does take so long  after ebay SENDS the payout for me to receive it? In every other instance when a person or business sends you money it's in your account instantly. Their may be cases the bank has to verify things when very large sums of money are involved but the money is there i can see it so can the bank. The point is when money is sent it is received by the bank almost instantly. Right now my ebay funds say $0.00 and the funds are not in my bank account. I know I will receive it eventually but the fact that my money is basically nowhere for 2-3 days makes a person wonder. What is ebay doing with the money in this period of time. How come every other financial transaction that is made in this day and age takes minutes at the most after it is sent. Ebay says its because they are not a financial institution. This answer has no relevance to the question.  I know i will get some responses saying "well business take time to process returns and all kinds of transactions". That is true but I'm talking about AFTER the processing is done and the money Is SENT. No other financial transaction take 2-3 business days to arrive in my account after it is sent with the exception of ebay.

No, when the buyer pays it does not instantly go to eBay. ADYEN processes your payment. Then it goes to eBay. eBay holds payments if you haven't sold in 6 months. You haven't so your  payments will be held as if you're a new seller subject to a 21 day payment hold. Your funds should be released after tracking shows delivered. Then it takes 1-3 dending upon your bank.

My old bank was  1 day. In my new bank all my deposits show pending as soon as the payment is received and won't clear the payment for 24 hours. They even hold my US Social Security retirement check for 24 hours.  My old bank gave me the money early in the a.m. on the day it was deposited. With my new bank I  don't get to spend my money until after 10 p.m. the next day.

Sometimes money transfers sit in a 'que' to be 'reviewed for accuracy and fraudulent transactions (money laundering etc.)prior to a bank 'accepting' the transfer. Since banks get 100's or 1000's a day, like checks process through just a few Federal Reserve Banks.

When I get a message that my money has been sent, say on Tuesday, the money is in my bank on Wednesday- almost 95% of the time. Used to take a bit longer, so I have to assume that my bank has 'streamlined' the acceptance.

It must be 'set up' differently when money transfers immediately. Similar to an 'in bank' transfer (from one customer to another in the same bank)

I have a bank here in Nevada that takes 2 business days to transfer to 'another bank' I have in Southern CA and both banks, different brands, are 'linked' so that I can do this simple transfer. So, bank transferring is NOT always 'immediate

Double check that your banking info is correct. If you believe that info is correct then I would call the bank and ask what is their policy for processing deposit is. Some do take as long as 2-3 days to clear. They are never instant. Even transfers from PayPal takes a few days to clear.   These are business days, Holidays and weekends are excluded.. Since you haven’t said exactly when these funds transferred I’m assuming the deposit was recently made.
