Payment status verbage on MP summary page

Am I the only one who thinks the way things were worded on the summary page for MP is dumb/confusing?

Available Funds

Pending Funds

Processing

There is nothing to indicate what these mean on the summary page.  They all make it sound like I have not been paid yet.  After a 5 hour wait I had a rep explain them to me, but they still make no sense.  Something tells me that whoever designed this has never used this part of the site.

I am not sure the children programmers they had make the thing ever had to do any accounting, much less a system that makes any sense.

That is better than what the rep told me, but I don't know why it doesn't seem to make sense.  The explanations make it sound like the money isn't mine yet.  Who knows I might be the dumb one.
