Payment received 25+ hours not processed: problem on buyer's end?

Hi. I received a small payment for an item that is now approaching 26 hours in the processing stage. Is that common or does it indicate a problem with the payment. I am still pretty new, so I don't quite have all this sort of stuff figured out yet. Thank you.

It used to be done processing and available the following day in the morning. But lately it doesn't seem to happen until the evening for me. Probably changed the time when the batch gets settled or something.

If eBay says you got paid, you should get paid. It should show under transactions on when it will finish processing and be available.

A day or two is normal here.

How long it takes for the payment to process, sometime depends on the buyers payment source.

Not here, but I've seen American Express take a week or longer.

You could drive yourself crazy looking at that stuff. Just ship the item if it shows up in orders awaiting shipment and eventually you will get the money. You can't wait for it to clear anyway. I have done at least $100,000 since switching to managed payments and never had a single payment not clear. Had one person charge back 6 weeks later, but that is a totally different thing.

Thank you all for the help and insights. @onefootflipper is right that it gets maddening checking the progress, so I'm just going to leave it alone and ship in the morning.  Thanks again.
