Hello guy!
Need your advice on behalf of a friend who's been selling some items for many years on ebay, thousands of positive feedbacks, never had any issues. All of the sudden, the payments that he received from the buyers kept piling up, to the point that the total amount went above 10k and it seems the be processing on and on, though he is using the daily payout option. Basically now he had to suspend his account as the money are not being sent to him, thought all the items were sent to the customers and he has no refunds issues nor unsolved claims. He contacted ebay several times in the past 3 weeks, no reply on this matter, except the usual thank you for being an ebay seller for ages. I find it unbelievable! Why is ebay's customer service, not trying to solve this? Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Many thanks!

Why would he suspend his account? If he had some unusually pricey items sold, that was not the norm for him, those funds can be held for up to thirty days. Or if he was an infrequent seller, those funds can be held too. Doesnt matter how long hes been on Ebay.

What do you mean by suspend his account? He can't close his account because eBay is holding funds. He can stop selling but then he will lose out because if you don't sell you won't get any money from the sale. Cutting off your nose to spite your face is silly. Nobody at eBay will care. They're not going to say uh oh better release his money pronto because he ended his listings.

Why is your friend not able to post here about his issues himself?
