Payment on hold

Hi @zoomyzack !

eBay does place holds on payment to ensure that the transaction goes smoothly. I attached an exerpt from an eBay article on this for clarification:

Source:(https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold/payments-hold?id=4816)

Transaction holds are when we place a hold on funds related to a particular buyer transaction. The funds on hold may be used to refund the buyer for the same transaction.

While proceeds from your sales typically become available within 2 days of confirming the buyer’s payment, we may place a transaction hold on funds while we ensure a successful transaction. To reduce the likelihood of a transaction hold, we recommend shipping an item the same day your buyer pays for it and following good shipping practices, such as adding tracking information to your order.

The 5 dollars is the shipping your buyer paid that goes towards purchasing your shipping label. Once eBay can confirm the item has been shipped per an update by the tracking number, your funds will be released

Payment on hold

Check the transaction details on the platform where you sold the action figure. Look for any information about fees, holds, or deductions that may have impacted the final amount you received.
Visit the website or contact customer support for the platform you used to sell the action figure. Review their payment and fee policies to understand how transactions are processed, including any fees or holds that may apply.
If you have questions or concerns about the specific amounts you received and the funds that are on hold, reach out to the customer support team of the selling platform. They should be able to provide clarification and address any issues.
Ensure that the payment method linked to your account is accurate and up to date. Sometimes, discrepancies in payments can occur due to issues with payment methods or accounts.

Payment on hold

If you have not sold for a while, they will place a hold on payments for a bit. They do free up the shipping so you can send the item.
