Payment Processing and complete When do we ship the item

If the order says processing should we wait till it says complete to ship? Some orders are taking several days to get out of processing and we are ready to ship but with the new system are we guaranteed our money. PayPal always made sure we got our money. Need to keep our metrics up but do we ship while payment is processing or completed?

You need to ship in whatever time frame you have stated in your listings. If you want to wait until the money has reached your account, you had better set your handling time accordingly. Do you think buyers will want to wait 5-7 days for you to ship?

You'll have to decide if you trust eBay on this.

Of course not but that shouldn't be the seller's problem.  Sellers need a guarantee that items listed as "processing" are clear to ship with guaranteed payout.  If a payment issue arises (processing turns to failed) it shouldn't be on the seller to eat the cost just because they were trying to be responsible and ship asap
