PayPal pay in 4 no longer on ebay?

 Haven't been able to use it on eBay for over week now despite always paying on time and in full.  It still shows up on other shopping sites just not on ebay

Yep seems like now i have to hit paypal and takes me to that unless theres a lock looking thing on that button i learned hard way if i do that it charges full price to my paypal.

Remove paypal as an automatic payment option on your ebay payment page, all will be back as it was before

Tried that didnt work seems now i have to just click paypal and go to pay in 4 thru there instead from now on.

I went into my payment section of ebay and deleted my paypal information. Now when I have paypal selected, it says I will finish up on paypal, directs me there and I have the pay in 4 option again.

Deleting the PayPal entry from your eBay wallet does not stop you from choosing PayPal at checkout, and doing that can actually allow you to once again see your PayPal wallet when checking out if the eBay wallet entry was preventing that.

Where is this option? It should open pay pal in 4 automatically

Been using pay in 4 for awhile. Now not available not sure if I did something to eliminate the option. But literally just used yesterday and now not working. I have two small purchases only. Any help appreciated.

Check your eBay Payments page:

If there is an entry there for PayPal, delete it.

The next time you check out of eBay and choose PayPal, you should be sent to your PayPal wallet to choose a payment method.

The same thing just happened to me. One pay in 4 went through. But the next one got denied by saying "application involved suspicious activity" and has since blocked all other attempts from receiving the option at all. I checked both eBay and PayPal customer service for any blocked activity but there is none. I tried clearing browser history and using  different computer. I used my alternate eBay account to test a purchase there. But the minute I enter my PayPal email that account won't offer pay in 4. It is tied to that account not ebay and not the sellers. Once the auto system declined it, I'm not sure how long before it might reset. It could be too many transactions and even though I'm paying all of them, their auto system is reading it as suspicious and blocking it even though none of the ebay or PayPal systems have visibility of why the auto system is declining the option. ( It reminds me of Facebook that will detect some flag in a message but won't show you why and reject/delete that msg where nobody can see the message or the reason causing the system to automatically flag it. )

Check your messages or notifications on PayPal to see the reason the application or loan was denied. My message said "application involved suspicious activity" but nothing could be found on record to correct that false flag. What does your message say as the reason? Then call PayPal and see if they can remove the restriction. If they say it's from the Seller or from eBay that wasnt true in my case. It just means the PayPal human staff does not have access or visibility of the automatic program that denied the application, so they are guessing. The only thing they can see is the message or notification in your messages on PayPal after the transaction  gets declined.

Tysm This was helpful.  I now realize I had to delete paypal from my ebay wallet.  So I could sign into paypal at check out and choose pay in 4 under the PayPal website.

That’s been happening to me too.  When I click on PayPal it immediately deducts it from my bank account.  I’m not given a choice to log into PayPal and select other methods to pay including 4-pay.

If you mean that when you check out of eBay and select PayPal, you are sent directly to a specific PayPal account without entering username or password and you do not want that to happen, sign in to that PayPal account outside of eBay and use the Gear icon to go to Settings and choose Security, then check the "Manage your Logins" and "Auto Login" sections and either delete those entries or select "Log out of all devices".

If you are unable to sign in to that PayPal account directly, try using a different browser (or a private or incognito browser window) to see if that gives you the option to select a PayPal account.

If you mean that when you check out of eBay and select PayPal, you are not able to choose a specific payment method in your PayPal wallet but one is automatically selected for you, in that case go to your eBay Payments page in your eBay account and delete the entry for PayPal that appears there.
