Partial Refund

A seller is offering me a partial refund, but does not know how to go about it. Any help is much appreciated.

If they are in managed payments, they go to their orders paid and find the item.

On the left of it is a drop down menu. 

Find refund 

Input amount of refund 

Send

If they received your payment via paypal then they need to go to the paypal transaction and select issue refund from next to the item.  Next screen edit the prefilled amount.   Put a note in the box and submit.
