Paid VAT and Customs fee twice

I was just asked to pay VAT and Customs fee by a local carrier, even though I already paid VAT on ebay, when I made the order. Why do I have to pay VAT twice? I doesn't make any sense. I tried contacting ebay vie email, but there is no email to be found. Chat assistant is useless, as expected.

Hi @ivmiha99 . If the carrier charged you VAT, go to this page and expand the "items delivered to Norway" section to see how you can request a VAT refund.

I requested a VAT refund, and I uploaded proof of overpayment. Unofrtunately, I still haven't heard from ebay. How do I even know if they've recieved the pdf file I sent them? There is no email exchange track record on their website, between me as a customer, and ebay as a company, as far as I can tell!?

How long ago did you submit @ivmiha99 ? I'd give it a week and if you're not credited the VAT in that time, contact customer service to inquire about status.
