PLEASE HELP Paypal and payout method

so this was my first time selling on ebay and after i had sent out my package i was told the payment was going to be held. made sense to me. me being a new seller and all. but about 3-4 days before the payout day it told me that ebay would be ditching paypal as their primary way of receiving funds so i changed my payout to a direct deposit into my bank. now i received  an email from paypal saying that my funds are available but it takes me to a dead link and checking the recent activity on my paypal shows nothing and neither does my bank account. not even in pending. i am really worried since the package i sent out not only cost me $50 shipping but was a $300 purchase.

PLEASE HELP Paypal and payout method

Your listing appears to be sold under Managed Payments. Go to your Seller Hub and click on the Payments tab. I think you'll see your funds 'Pending' (Processing), which means on the way to your bank account (Completed).

if you have no payment in Paypal: you were not payed:

Check PayPal If payed in Paypal, transfer the money to your account from there; if you do not have a hold by PP.

It would not have transferred to MP.

Was the message in an email ( not eBay messages):

If so this is a common scam to get you to send free stuff.
